Elizabeth Writer . University Experience |
Hello Elizabeth. Thanks for giving us an interview.
Elizabeth: Oh, it's no trouble it all. This is the least anxiety-provoking interview I've ever experienced. For some reason, I feel very comfortable, almost as if I'm talking to myself.
Ha-ha, very funny-perhaps it's time you cut the silliness and discuss your background a bit. :)
Elizabeth: Oh all right, as you probably already know from looking at my resume, I've been working towards a doctorate in English at the University in Amherst. I have been conducting custom research, doing the necessary reading, and producing custom essays and research papers for a number of years. I guess it would be fair to say that I have an expert level of expertise in this area. Term papers and school research papers are what I seem to do best! ;) However, I always need enough time to complete each project. Rush orders are not for me.
What are some of your first experiences with reading, researching, and custom essay writing?
Elizabeth: I'm glad you asked. This kind of background stuff is so interesting and it doesn't appear on a resume. I learned how to read when I was three years old, I just sort of taught myself. I still remember the first word I could read - it was Hi-C. I wrote it on my magnet board. From that day on my long love affair with the English language began. This is the longest, lasting most successful relationship in my life - bar none. I was always a natural speller, never really had to think about it much; I just knew how to spell. I used to challenge schoolmates to ask me to spell the most difficult words they could think of and spell them. I was also an eager and willing writer. I just loved to write and usually got excited when a teacher assigned a paper. Then, as now, I took a lot of pride in my work and strove to make my paper the best it could be. I took especial pride in creating witty titles and still do.
You're English major; won't that limit the types of topics you will write on?
Elizabeth: Oh gosh no! While working for Custom Papers I wrote on everything from dental anesthesia to air pollution in New Mexico. As far as I remember, the first paper I wrote was for a Psychology major and I really enjoyed working on it; I'm sure my customer was pleased with the result as well.
Where do you find your research sources for such a wide range of topics?
Elizabeth: I subscribe to online libraries like Questia and use it when I must. I prefer to use an actual, rather than a virtual library. My affiliation with the University of Massachusetts gives me access to their library and the libraries of Smith College, Mount Holyoke College, Hampshire College, and Amherst College. I live in a region that is rife with colleges. Additionally, the public library in my town is excellent and most of the librarians are very helpful. Also, I have an inquisitive mind and am interested in a wide range of topics. My personal library is extensive and eclectic. I must have 2 or 3 thousand books - I'll have to count them someday. I have books on Art History, Film, Experimental Music, Herbology, English and American literature, and more. It's not uncommon for me to be able to use my own books when writing a custom term paper or essay.
That's great! Can I borrow a book sometime? Seriously though, as an English major, you must really only be comfortable using MLA style for documentation. Is that right?
Elizabeth: First of all, you already have access to all my books - what's yours is mine - literally. Secondly, I can document papers using MLA, APA, and Chicago style. Of course, I know MLA the best, but a good style manual, and I own several, shows how to use a range of documentation styles.
That's good to know. I really enjoyed chatting with you Elizabeth.
Elizabeth: My pleasure - anytime.
